A few days ago we told you that Motorola was preparing for its new genius, something that it hasn't done in a long time. Motorola Edge + will be the top end, but it won't come alone.
Thanks to XDA Developers we learned that the company is also developing a smaller version, with some reduced features, and we think it is also reasonably priced.
Intermediate distance to exit
This model will not be a tool with excellent features but that does not mean it cannot be a suitable model. It will use Snapdragon 765, the same processor as the Pixel 5. This could help reduce the cost of the new smartphone.
There will be 4,500 mAh of battery, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory.
The display will have a wet shaft, flowing like the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, and, the maximum refresh rate will be 90 Hz, and will have an automatic selection function to allow the system to switch between normal 60 Hz and 90 Hz depending on what we do.
At the bottom of the panel we have fingerprints, which are Optical technology.
MicroSD, headphone jack … and three cameras
Another thing that this model will not match is the flag of each product where there is a headphone jack and microSD. Both will be there.
Nokia Edge will have a system of three cameras in the background. The first will be 64 Mpx sensor, which can be used with Pixel Binning to take 16 Mpx images. The second sensor will be 16 Mpx wide angle (it is recommended that it is less resolved). The last one will be an 8 Mpx telephoto. The front camera, which is stored in the cutting edge of the screen, will have a resolution of 25 Mpx.
It looks like Motorola is looking for the right choice, apart from the full coverage in this category, and it's a valuable asset.
The big question is now at the time of its launch as its announcement was pending at the MWC and given the current situation it would have to wait longer than we thought.
