In 2016 we took a break from working on our physics-based planet Clustertruck and attended a jam game in the Swedish fortress for seven days. Game-jam is a developer game development game where you are given the context for making the game over a short period of time. Inspired by the castle and decided to imagine a scene where we were attacked by mysterious creatures with shy eyes – we called it Accurate Battlefield
After the jam game we posted the trailer of the game online and it went viral in a few days and requests to play it were filled to people who wanted to play it. We realized this was a game we had to use after finishing Clustertruck. We released a free alpha of the game at the end of 2016 that has been played by millions of people. We're excited to finally bring it to the Xbox with the Xbox Game Preview program so more people will have the opportunity to play it.
The process of getting the game just right
we also had to reboot it from scratch two different times. We have
I've learned a lot through the process and grown as developers and as a studio.
Many thanks to our community who have been following this game since
2016 and we are patiently waiting to finish. You / They have been amazing
help during development, come up with suggestions and feedback, help us
test the alpha and cry for it.
The game currently has nine teams, 18 maps, a sandbox, a unit legacy, a battle with a campaign planner. There is more to come, because the game is previewed by the game. Specifically a unit builder where players will be able to customize their units, we are very excited to see what you / they come up with.
