On Monday morning, Microsoft unveiled the technical specs for the Xbox Series X. We also got a closer look at how the controller differs from the Xbox One, and how much room the X series will take in your home. But to kick off the announcement, Mike Rayner – technical director at The Coalition – showed a demo of how the team works successfully Gears 5
According to this post, Rayner and his team showed up for Microsoft Gears 5 running the Xbox Series X using the same Ultra settings is usually reserved for the PC version. This version of the game also includes high texture resolutions, high volumetric fog, and 50% higher particle sizes than PC Ultra specs. The team from the Coalition also showed an upgraded version of the game's opening, which went on 60 frames per second in 4K – twice the Xbox One X's average.
Gears 5 also saw the appropriate luggage in the Series X, and included some visual effects such as contact shadows and self-illumination. According to Rayner, the team at The Coalition is investigating a game that can run at 120 frames per second in multiplayer games. Microsoft revealed that the Coalition has only a matter of weeks to make all this progress.
Finally, the Coalition also revealed Gears 5 it will be completely upgraded to the Xbox Series X during its release this holiday. Players who already own them Gears 5 you will get the Series X version for free, with the new Microsoft Delivery program.
