Capcom has announced the releases for the »Raccoon City« demo of the Resident Evil 3 remake and for the beta of the associated multiplayer mode Resident Evil Resistance. The team presents the dates and some new game scenes in the trailer at the beginning of this news.
From March 19, 2020 you can try the single player mode. The trial of the online games will begin about a week later on March 27th.
It's in the demo
In the trial version you have to try as Jill Valentine to escape from Raccoon City. However, the developer Capcom does not want to reveal too much about the content and only gives the tip to keep your ammunition and the items in stock, although it is only a demo.
The description in the official Playstation blog provides further information on the available content. So you will already meet the nemesis. You can also find 20 hidden »Mr. Charlie characters as an additional challenge.
No time limit: In contrast to the test version of the Resident Evil 2 remake, there are no limits to the third part. There is neither a timer on your neck, nor is the number of your runs limited.

No information about the scope of the beta
In multiplayer mode, a team of four survivors compete against a mastermind. While the former have to flee from a research facility, the latter monitors them with cameras, puts his (mostly) undead biological weapons on their necks and sets traps.
The Beta ends with the release of the title in early April. Capcom does not reveal how extensive the test version will be in terms of map selection, characters, skills and Co.
Resident Evil 3 Remake appears along with the multiplayer Resistance mode on April 3, 2020 for Windows PCs and consoles. Versions for Mac or Linux have not been announced.
