Epic Games Fortnite continues to prove itself as an absolute powerhouse that has an incredibly large user base and they have had fantastic collaborations with a number of major brands. However, Nintendo is one company that has yet to bring any of its favorite characters to a free-to-play game. It’s not for lack of trying as Epic Games CEO Saxs Persson recently revealed. Persson said they have contacted the Kyoto-based company about bringing their characters to Fortnite, but that has yet to happen. I doubt they’ll keep trying.
“I don’t know the word for making diamonds. Nintendo has their strategy and we have our strategy and we hope to use their characters at some point. Our players would love that.”
