As is well known, Epic Games is continuing to expand the Fortnite universe and will be providing you with plenty of completely new gaming options in December thanks to cooperation with several other developers. After LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing had previously been launched within the game, Fortnite Festival is now the latest to arrive.
With Fortnite Festival, a musical new game mode awaits you in the long-running Fortnite from Epic Games. In this case, Epic was not responsible for development, but rather the music experts at Harmonix. These now take you on a musical journey in Fortnite.
Because: In Fortnite Festival the stage is literally yours! You can perform the hits of various well-known artists because an extensive soundtrack has been officially licensed for the mode. There is a larger selection of hits from many genres and decades. You can also expect a changing selection of songs that can be played for free.
On the main stage you choose the songs for your setlist and have to decide who plays the main instrument (guitar or keytar), who plays the drums and who plays the bass. In addition, someone has to take over the singing on the microphone. Ultimately, the main stage supports groups of up to four players.
There is also the jam stage, where you can play the loops of each jam song for the main instrument, drums, vocals or bass via the locker. You can adjust the tempo, key, and major/minor options to perfectly fine-tune your mix. The Jam Stage supports parties with up to four players.
With the arrival of Fortnite Festival, a first season has also started in this musical mode, which will last until February 22, 2024 at 6:00 a.m. and will focus on The Weeknd. There’s also the Opening Night Festival Pass, which unlocks new instruments, jam songs and more. There is both a free reward path and a premium upgrade here.
