Right in the middle of a recent rise in popularity, the war game from DICE and EA is getting ready to celebrate the holiday season. The 2023 Christmas event Festive Protocol comes to Battlefield 2042 as part of season 6 ‘Dark Creations’offering new game modes and weekly rewards.

As you can see, This event runs from Tuesday, December 12, 2023 to Tuesday, January 9, 2024. The content will be divided by weeks.
Game modes
- Fast attack: (December 12-19) a faster version of conquest
- Elf Attack: (December 19-28) a team battle. Santas against elves.
- Infantry Conquest Chaos: (December 28 to January 2) Objective capture, shooting, respawning, equipment throwing, and even running speed will be faster, but there will be no vehicles.
- Pondhawk Superiority: (January 2-9) Conquest battles with a focus on Pondhawk vehicles and infinite gadget ammo.
Rewards
In addition to the rewards listed, each week we can also get a one-hour token of double XP.
