Matthew Perry holds a special place in the hearts of many Fallout fans thanks to his portrayal of Benny in New Vegas, and now there’s a mod in the Mojave Desert A tasteful memorial to him has been added.
After the actor’s death in late October, many people referenced the scheming leader in their favorite Perry performances, as well as his work in television and movies. Now, thanks to modder and Fallout community figure TunnelSnakesFool, you can pay your respects by visiting Goodsprings Cemetery the next time you launch the game.

The mod, titled “For Marty – A Tribute to Matthew Perry,” adds a tribute to Perry in the game, not far from where you first met Benny in New Vegas.
“Matthew Perry’s Benny is one of my favorite characters in the Fallout series, and of course I grew up with Friends,” its creator wrote in a Twitter post. Mod trying to get through New Vegas with friends.”
In keeping with this vision, the monument features a photo of Perry alongside quotes from the character that he and TunnelSnakesFool deemed appropriate. Sit next to it and you’ll find some souvenirs that you can take with you when traveling.

These include a retextured version of Benny’s unique pistol, the “Maria,” which has been given a Friends-inspired makeover and renamed “My Friend,” as well as a note containing quotes from Perry’s 2022 memoir.
That said, my favorite piece of content is a replica of Benny’s iconic plaid suit, which the modders included so that players could easily pair up with the character without having to harm him to get his funky outfit.
While it looks like TunnelSnakesFool plans to make some additional updates or additions to the mod, I think this is already a perfect tribute to Perry. At least, I think we can all agree that this is a much better eulogy than Mr. House’s own eulogy.
