Organizing your team for Warlord’s Ruin
Similar to setting up a raid like Root of Nightmares, communication will be key to your success. Make sure you and your team can coordinate clearly. Voice chat is really useful.
There will be a lot of scorn to clear out and sections with swarms of prizes. Both Osteo Striga and Riskrunner are viable for this. Linear Fusion Rifles like the Taipan-4FR remain a good option for dealing damage to bosses, while Solar Rocket Launchers or Grenade Launchers are also good options. Or a Warlock who can drop healing of fractures
The recommended power level for Warlord’s Ruin is 1790, although enemies reach 1810. Being properly leveled is very important for completion to be reasonable, so be sure to upgrade your best weapons and armor before you begin.
How to start Warlord’s Ruin in Destiny 2 and begin your ascension
To access Warlord’s Ruin, you will first need to visit Ikora in the tower. She will give you a quest called “The Shadow of the Mountain”. Once you have it, you can open the Director, go to the EDZ, and start Warlord’s Ruin.
You will start at the foot of a mountain. You will then have to go up to the entrance to the dungeon. Start by jumping onto this large rock.
Jump high onto this cliff and onto the platform behind it.
Now go straight ahead. There are a few more jumps and turns, but you’ll soon arrive at the fortress gates, with the first boss waiting just beyond.
Strategy of Rathil, First Broken Knight of Fikrul
Before you will be Rathil, first broken knight of Fikrul. This is the first boss. The battle begins as soon as you approach or shoot him. This is a fairly simple boss fight that will introduce the key mechanics of this dungeon.
When the fight begins, Rathil will be invincible. He will summon swarms of scornful enemies. Do your best to stay alive while reducing their numbers, and eventually three important things will happen.
First, a message that says “Imminent wish” will appear with a 30 second countdown. Second, all members of your squad will be teleported to locked cages suspended in the air. Finally, Lanterns of Contempt will appear on the battlefield.
Your job is to Escape the cages and activate the lanterns before the impending wish reaches zero.. If you succeed, you will receive a buff called Naeem’s Wish Empowerment, which makes the boss vulnerable to DPS until it expires. Capturing more lanterns will give you a longer damage phase, capturing zero lanterns will result in no damage phase at all.
The cages will be locked and raised. Any cage reaching the top will kill its occupant. To escape, you will have to shoot three eyes taken
Once back on the ground, locate a scornful lantern and stand in the circle which surrounds it. After a few seconds, the small spot in the center will turn blue, indicating that you have successfully activated the lantern. Once the impending wish reaches 0, a message saying “Rathil’s spell backfires!” » will be displayed and Naeem’s wish fulfillment will begin.
As soon as you see the words “Empowering Naeem’s Wishes” you should start dealing as much damage as possible to Rathil until the timer expires. Repeat this cycle as necessary until Rathil falls, and you will be sent to the next part of this dungeon: a real dungeon!
