Ampere Analysis, the renowned market analysis company, has revealed its first sales estimates for the long-awaited survival horror sequel developed by Remedy Entertainment.
Pierre Harding-Rolls d’Ampère has shed some light on the approximate number of units sold between the release of Alan Wake 2 on October 27 and the end of November. According to Ampère’s analysis, sales are around 850,000 copies, excluding December data. Although the title has yet to reach a million copies, Harding-Rolls suggests it could do so once December sales are taken into account.

Ampere predicts another increase in sales as Alan Wake 2 experiences price drops on several online platforms, a rumor that is circulating heavily. Harding-Rolls predicts that this strategy could take sales to new levels, recalling the positive impact that Alan Wake Remastered had during the October and November period, coinciding with the release of the sequel.
