- Now choose the output format

With the shortcuts app
Creating a shortcut to turn WEBP images into JPG/PNG on your iPhone is a simple process and useful, especially if you want to convert directly from the Photos app. Here’s how to set this image converter as a shortcut.
- Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone. If you don’t have it, download it from the App Store.
- Start creating a new shortcut by tapping the “+” icon.
- Select “Add action”.
- Search for “featured photos” and choose that option.
- Enable “Select Photos” option and allow multiple images to be selected to convert several at the same time.
- Use the search bar to find the next action.
- Search for “Convert Image” and select that action.
- Choose JPEG as the format and set the “Ask every time” option to choose the output format for each use.
- Add another action by searching for “Save to photo album”.
- Complete the process by tapping “Done” and your shortcut will be created.
- Rename the shortcut for easy identification. Long press the shortcut, select “Rename” and name it, for example “Photo Conversion”.
- Run the shortcut by selecting it.
- Choose the photos you want to convert and select the output format. You may need to adjust additional options such as quality or metadata retention.
