The new creation from My Hero Academia Studios
Bones isn’t just working on the seventh season of My Hero Academia (available May 4, 2024 on Crunchyroll, remember). In 2024 the studio will reveal to us Metallic blushan original creation of the studio. This means that it is not an adaptation of an existing manga: Bones edited Metallic blush completely new. And the project has a very special touch for the studio. In fact, it was created to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
As far as casting goes, we find studio regulars. Yutaka Izubuchi (RahXephon) is the leader of the project. Motonobu Hori, who has already worked on it Carole & Tuesday et Super crook, is the director. Only Toshizo Nemoto is known for a production other than a Bones anime: since Ultraman Greed he has been the screenwriter of the Ultra saga. As for the voices, we find in particular Yume Miyamoto (GJ Club, SSSS.Gridman…), Tomoyo Kurosawa (Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Tower of Fantasy…), Shunsuke Takeuchi (Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS, King of the Prism…) or encore Yū Shimamura (Mob Psycho 100 III, Bungō Stray Dogs…).
The technical data sheet is ready! Now it’s time to explain to you what we’re talking about Metallic blush. This is a science fiction anime, more precisely from the mecha genre. In the world of Metallic blush, androids and humans coexist but don’t really have the same rights. The former are actually treated like the minions of the latter. Apparently that’s enough to cause a little resentment. To maintain apparent peace, Rouge and her partner Naomi, two androids, were sent by the government on a mission to find and incapacitate nine androids deemed dangerous.
When it comes to communication, Bones is very active in promoting her new baby. We’ve been treated to a number of videos, including one released earlier this month (see above). And you know what ? Thanks to the latter, we know the exact release date of Metallic Rouge. See you on Friday January 10, 2024 to discover this new anime, of course on Crunchyroll.
