Baldur’s Gate 3 receives a new update: facelift, autosave and other fixes

autosave, Baldurs, facelift, fixes, GATE, receives, update

It wouldn’t be one of the best games of the year, and perhaps the best in history in its genre, without the developers making constant, quality updates to keep the game running. Just a few days ago, Larian Studios released patch number 14 with several adjustments. But that was not enough, Well, now they are releasing patch number 15 and perhaps the last one of the year.

According to patch notes, one of the main reasons we did this right before Christmas was because there was a bug that ruined the experience in an unexpected way. As they say, the characters’ faces became “stretched supernatural horrors with flesh holes for eyes.” Additionally, there were issues with autosaving on Xbox and other issues that could affect the state of saved games.

Baldur’s Gate 3 continues to improve on Xbox

With the recent arrival of the game on Xbox Series X/S, this version is the one that poses the most technical problems. Over the past few weeks we have had new patches, but none have managed to completely fix autosave errors. This is why it seems that patch number 15 will completely end these errors on the platform. In addition, they fix the most important bugs in the modeling of certain weapons and the problem of distortion of characters’ faces.

Here are the full patch notes:
