Splatoon 3 continues to receive a lot of support from Nintendo and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. There will be more DLC coming soon that is part of the Expansion Pass, and the game is being updated very regularly with new updates that add more stuff, rebalance the game, and fix bugs.
Well, the latest example of this happened tonight. Nintendo has released a brand new update for Splatoon 3, bringing the game to version 6.0.2. There is no new content in this update, but there are some other bug fixes that have been implemented. You can see the official patch notes in full below.
Multiplayer fixes
- Adjusted the color change when affected by Splattercolor Screen to be more natural. The screen brightness of the effect itself is also dimmed.
Fixes for Salmon Run
- It allowed those who participated in the Big Run held on 12/2-4 and did not properly receive the honors or badges for their results to receive the honors and badges they should have received.
- You can get them by entering the lobby after applying this update.
Other repairs
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused a communication error when players who have seen the news about the start of a new season and players who have not seen it communicate in the Shoal.
Note: Compatible with ver. 6.0.1 and ver. 6.0.0 battle replays. Not compatible with ver. 5.2.0 or earlier battle replays.
