While Pokémon Go special events, such as the planned Safari Zone and Abra Community Day, have been postponed or canceled, developer Niantic will continue the special issue of Special Case Study based on the legendary Pokémon Genesect. In response to the coronavirus broadcast of the novel COVID-19, Niantic made changes to the event so that players could complete their research tasks on their own – and possibly benefit from their homes.

Niantic has made a series of changes to the Genetice event that will allow Pokémon Go Players complete the required Special Special solo tasks. Those new jobs will present the following challenges:

  • Catch Pokémon of various types
  • Play with your Buddy
  • Enable Pokémon
  • Fight for another Coach (this includes Go Go Leauge)
  • Hatch eggs

The Genetect Special Research event will run Friday, March 20 at 8 a.m. until Thursday, March 26 at 10 p.m. To participate in the Genet Special Research issue, Pokémon Go Players need to buy a ticket to the event. The item costs $ 7.99 and gives access to "A Investigation Drive!" storyline, as well as jewelry and in-game items: the first five Primetime Fight items, three Super Incubators, 32 3 Chargers, 3 Fast, 3 Incense, 3 Star Piece, Poffin, 15 Rare Candies and one Glacial Lure.

Recent special story events that require paid access have included activities that require players to compete in attacking or hunting specific Pokémon.

Niantic recently made some changes to Pokémon Go adaptation to the coronavirus and the isolation players. Those changes include Extreme Healing (so that players can entice Pokémon to their place), increased space, more gifts from PokéStops, and suspension of Egg-hatching ranges, so players should not work too far from home.
