THE Quest Give Me a Sign in Disney Dreamlight Valley is one of the first quests you will need to complete as part of the A Rift in Time DLC. Goofy also has shops on DLC Island, but like the ones in your main valley, you’ll need to help him restore and reopen them.
This Disney Dreamlight Valley quest is rather important because you will need to complete it to be able to get your hands on a new royal tool that was added with Eternity Isle, the brand new DLC island that is full of new content and characters.
Without further ado, we will quickly show you how to complete the Give Me a Sign quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete the Give Me a Sign quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To start the Give Me a Sign quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley you must have the A Rift in Time DLCtravel to the Isle of Eternity and finds the broken half of the store sign.
We started this quest as part of the “Flying Nuisance” quest to get the hourglass, but if Goofy’s broken sign appears before you start the aforementioned quest, feel free to start this one!
The broken half of the store’s sign can be found on crates in the stall to the right of Goofy’s broken one in Ancient’s Landing Docks.
Pick up the broken half of the sign and take it to Goofy. This will mark the official start of the Give Me a Sign quest.
After giving them the sign, follow Goofy to the dilapidated Docks store. After a brief conversation, you will then be tasked with finding several materials to repair the shop.
To repair Goofy’s stand in the Docks, you will need:
- x25 Copper – Use your pickaxe to break the copper rocks around Ancient’s Landing.
- x12 Plastic scraps – Fish it away from the ripples and bubbles (we also found some in the storage box near Goofy’s stall).
Both of these items are exclusive to Eternity Isle.so you will not be able to collect them in your main valley.
Once you have collected these items, return them to Goofy who is delighted to receive your help again. After that, return to Goofy’s Shop.
Be prepared for a shock: interact with the Scrooge McDuck sign next to the store to open it for… nothing! That’s right, for some reason Scrooge allowed you to open this shop without spending any coins.
Once the shop is open, talk to Goofy again to complete this quest and they will give you celery which is very important to prepare the recipe for the best fish ever.
