Assault Suit Leynos 2 Saturn Tribute will be released for Xbox One, Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in 2024 in Japan.
Leynos 2 Assault Suit is a 1997 Japanese shooter game developed by NCS for Sega Saturn. It is a direct sequel to Assault Suit Leynos released for 1990 Mega Drive. This is the third title in the Assault Suits series, and in the middle of Leynos 1 and 2 we had Falcon Assault Suits. This only happened for SuperNintendo in 1992.
Leynos 2 Assault Suit is a side-scrolling shooter video game set in the future. We will board an anthropomorphic robot, an Assault Suit, customizing its weapons and equipment to fight on different battlefields. You can also increase the durability of your robots so that they fight longer. In addition, we will have to complete a series of missions where clues are the main focus.

In Japan, the versions for PlayStation 5 and To change will be available in physical editions Standard and Limited “12th Special Mecha Unit Pack” for 3,850 yen and 7,150 yen, respectively. The latter includes a copy of the game, a special box, the official fan book “Assault Suit Leynos 2 Unveiled Report”, a poster design sticker in B7 format, a reversible cover and a CD with the original soundtrack. In Europe they have not been announced and it is more than likely that they will not arrive.
This title is part of the Saga Homage to Saturn. A series of reissues of classics produced and developed by City Connection with the Zebra engine during the era of Sega Saturn.
