A cult show is celebrating its birthday: with Bernhard Hoëcker, Wigald Boning, Katrin Müller-Hohenstein, Jens Riewa, Axel Prahl, Thomas Frankenfeld, Alexander Kumptner and many others.
On March 8, 1963, a sketch was broadcast on the program “Guten Abend, Peter Frankenfeld” that became a TV classic: “Dinner for One.” “The 90th birthday”, which Miss Sophie celebrates with her butler James, has long been part of the New Year’s Eve tradition in Germany and many other countries and is cult.
There is a very special anniversary show to mark the 60th anniversary of the first broadcast. Host Bernhard Hoëcker invited four prominent “Dinner for One” fans to sit at his festively set table. There will be quizzes, chats, games and of course one or two drinks will be served on New Year’s Eve, true to the motto “The same procedure as every year”.
