Here are the first new Netflix releases from January 1st to 7th, 2024 to start the year off right with big, all-new programming on the platform.

Happy New Year everyone again! Despite a complicated wake-up call, we’re getting back to good old SVOD news habits with this week’s Netflix releases. To close out the month of December, the company added two anticipated series: Berlin and The Pokémon Receptionist. The first is a spin-off of La Casa de papel starring one of the iconic characters of the Spanish series and the second is an ambitious stop-motion project about small creatures to hunt and collect. The new Netflix releases for January 2024 began with “Tomorrow It All Begins.” A dramatic comedy starring Omar Sy in the role of a die-hard party animal who is forced to take on greater responsibility overnight by becoming the father of a little girl.
