In September 2023, Blizzard finally listened to new players’ pleas and added a new “training” mode. This mode is called Hero Mastery and they have already launched tests for several characters, but not for all. Now we are going to see what dates in January 2024 new characters arrive in the Hero Mastery mode of Overwatch 2what they are and what news there will be.
This is a training mode in which we can learn to better handle each character in the game. It is also a competitive challenge in which we try to obtain better scores than other players around the world.
The goal of each test in this mode is to overcome a level full of training robots, obstacles and jumping platforms. At the end we will receive a score depending on how quickly we reach the goal, the number of enemy robots we defeat and the number of emblems we collect. In some areas you will have to defeat enemy robots to continue and in others you will have to protect allies.

Actually, we already knew what the characters will be since it arrived season 8 to the game. The new thing is that we know what date each one joins.

Blizzard also announced through its official blog that there will be new rewards every week for completing the new Hero Mastery Mode tests Overwatch 2. In addition to up to 50,000 XP for the battle pass, we can earn a new weapon charm, souvenir, and a Pachibot spray. These rewards will be available until Tuesday, February 6, 2024.
