The first Team of the Week cards for 2024 were released today for EA FC 24. The TOTW 16 lineup is now live and available in Ultimate Team packs, with last week’s top performers getting a boost their grades and a new Team of the Week card. And the highest-rated card in the latest version of TOTW goes to Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian striker, who has a new TOTW card rated at a total of 92, produced a breakthrough performance against Newcastle United on New Year’s Day. The 31-year-old scored two goals and had an assist as the Reds beat Newcastle 4-2 at Anfield, a result which allowed Jurgen Klopp’s side to start 2024 at the top of the Premier League table.
Salah was joined in the Week 16 squad by his former teammate Sadio Mané, with the Senegalese winger now plying his trade in Saudi Arabia alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr. Mane received a new overall score of 87 after scoring a double against Al-Ittihad. Elsewhere, many other current and former Premier League players have also been included in TOTW 16, with Phil Foden, Michael Olise, Cole Palmer, Chris Wood, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Kasper Schmeichel all receiving new Ultimate Team cards.
