Created by Ben Stiller, Severance tells the disturbing story of a Lumon Corporation employee who, to work in the Special Division, undergoes surgery that splits his consciousness. At work, Mark doesn’t remember his private life and at home, he has no idea what his career entails.
Grieving over the death of his wife, Mark takes on a mindless office job that sinks him into oblivion. Unfortunately, he discovers that the all-powerful corporation harbors many dark secrets and begins to question the good intentions of its founders. The twisted story, strange company customs, and stellar performances make Severance a true office thriller.
This dark satire of corporate life quickly won over a large group of dedicated fans, eager to know if there would be another episode – here’s everything we know.
When could Severance season 2 be released?

We hope that the photo of Adam Scott as Mark Scout will soon be followed by information on the release date of season 2.

What could be the plot of Severance season 2?
Spoilers for season 1 below
At the end of season 1, Mark and his friends explore the Lumon building and discover a hidden department filled with goats. The team also designs a plan that allows Mark, Helly and Irving to access their work memories while outside the company. The plan works, but only for a limited time.
During this brief moment, Mark finds a photo of his supposedly deceased wife, Gemma, and discovers that she is the same person as Mrs. Casey, the wellness counselor at Lumon.
Helly wakes up at the official gala and realizes that she is Helena Eagan, the daughter of Lumon CEO James Eagan. She also discovers that she took a severance payout for PR reasons – Lumon is trying to legalize its technology and sell it to other companies.
At the same time, Irving manages to visit Burt, only to discover that he is in a happy relationship.

The series created by Ben Stiller is so enigmatic that it is difficult to predict what will happen in season 2. The rebellious employees could be punished in one way or another for what they did. Lumon’s managers probably won’t fire Mark and his friends, but will figure out how to imprison them and make their lives even more miserable.
We don’t know what will happen to Helly. As the CEO’s daughter, she should be protected, but on the other hand, her employee incarnation is seen as an entirely different creature.
There is some hope for Mark, however, who manages to tell his sister that Gemma is alive. Devon probably won’t believe him at first, and Mark won’t be able to clarify what he meant, but his family will surely try to free him from Lumon’s power.
How to watch Service Outage
The severance package is exclusive to Apple TV+. It’s usually $9.99/£8.99 per month, but there are ways to get a free subscription.
