Warwick takes center stage in ‘Arcana’ season 2 trailer

It’s tempting – but doesn’t actually give us any new information. It’s a perfect combination for any trailer, which is why we won’t give a spoiler warning. In this new image, we see Warwick hanging from chains and pipes above Singed, the morally questionable scientist sitting alone. It’s basically the same shot we saw in the Season 1 finale, just rotated 180 degrees.

But that’s not to say it’s not fun. Not only is Warwick one of the most exciting Zaun champions in League of Legends, but he’s also one that Arcane Theory crafters have been speculating about since the end of Season 1. There’s a ton of information out there about who Warwick really was before his grizzly transformation, and it’s worth a look if you don’t mind potentially spoiling things for yourself.

All in all, 2024 is going to be a big year for League of Legends. Not only are we launching Arcana Season 2 this November, but we’re also making changes to the content in the game. These include a wave of new champions, mastery level changes for Champion Fanatics, new game modes, arena adjustments, and a teaser as part of the game’s 15th anniversary celebrations.

Arcane was an instant hit, bringing a whole new group of people into a world where 20-year-olds surrender and run all the way to middle age. Arcane’s ability to appeal to people outside of League’s fanbase is rarer than you’d think for a video game spin-off – certainly on the scale that Arcane is capable of. So it may take a lot of hard work to win hearts and minds again in the upcoming season.
