Although last week Marvel fans were reassured to see the final poster and trailer of Black widow, keeping its release date in theaters for next April 30, the reality is that these last days are causing serious chaos for everyone. The Coronavirus crisis is paralyzing most countries, who see their citizens confined to their homes for security, leading establishments to close their doors. In this way, theaters are closed indefinitely, so there is already an extensive list of movies that have delayed their release until the situation calms down.
In the case of Disney, we recently informed you that Mulan's live-action film, The New Mutants of X-Men and Antlers: Dark Creature had no release date in theaters. Now, Black Widow becomes one more movie with no arrival date in theaters, as collected by the portal Variety. In this way, the start of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe postpones its start, with the hope that the rest of the films and series are not also affected, something possible given the uncertainty surrounding the duration of the Coronavirus crisis.
The premiere of the Falcon series and the Winter Slush in the summer is also scheduled for this year, while the film The Eternals and the WandaVision series are expected by the end of the year. It will therefore have to be hoped that the delay of Black Widow is not so prolonged to the point of affecting the rest of Marvel projects.
