And we’re not saying it, just take a look at the new MSI Claw and compare it with the ASUS ROG Ally. As we can see in the following image, the design of the case and the distribution of buttons on the sides of the screen are exactly the same. MSI’s supposed inspiration extends to the RGB lighting on the joysticks and air vents.

As for storage, the MSI Claw includes an NVMe 2230 PCIe Gen 4, although at the moment the storage versions in which it will be available have not been announced. In terms of connectivity, this MSI portable console is compatible with the new Wi-Fi 7 standard and has Bluetooth 5.4. It also includes a USB-C Thunderbolt 4 port, a microSD card slot, a headphone jack connection, and the power button includes a fingerprint sensor. Concerning the operating system, the MSI Claw is managed by Windows 11 in the Home version, which allows the user to install any video game store of their choice.

With such a difference in battery life, MSI has its work cut out for it if it truly wants to become a true alternative to the ROG Ally.
