The original information came from Zippo, who stated yesterday that the presentation will not take place in February as usual, but in January 2024 to clean up Nintendo Switch ads for the supposed announcement of its successor. Then, another different leaker, Pyoro, has denied that there will be a Nintendo Direct this January, and the third report points in this same direction.
Jeff Grubb, a gaming expert who has been right with unconfirmed information in the past, has suggested the likelihood of an upcoming Nintendo Direct next month during a Giant Bomb Twitch stream. This is what was shared:
- Grubb expressed that “you can always count on a Nintendo Direct in February. “It will almost certainly happen again in February.”
- Nintendo has historically hosted Directs in February in previous years, which backs up this claim.
