It looks like a number of high-profile first-party Nintendo games will be going out of print, at least in North America. The news has been noticed by Nintendodeal with some retailers removing the below games from their inventory. It’s not clear why this is happening, but there’s a possibility that they could be featured as Nintendo Select titles since a successor to the Nintendo Switch is likely on the horizon.
- Paper Mario: The Origami King
- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
- The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening (2019)
- Pikmin 3 Deluxe
- Metroid Dread
- Kirby Star Allies
- Xenoblade Chronicles 2
- New Super Mario Bros. In Deluxe
- Fire Emblem: Three Houses
- Fire Emblem: Engage
- Yoshi’s created world
- WarioWare: Assemble!
- Nintendo Switch Sports
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Splatoon 2
- Super Mario Maker 2
