Rockstar Games fans have been waiting for the announcement of GTA 6 for many years. Now it has finally happened. The publisher has released the first trailer and fans are overjoyed.

If you then launch the title on PS5 or Xbox Series X/S, it will take a while to complete it. But it probably won’t be extremely long. You should need around 35 to 40 hours for one playthrough, says the alleged leaker “LegacyKillaHD” on X (formerly “Twitter”).

He does not name his source, but simply refers to what he heard. This information doesn’t seem very reliable, so you should read it with a healthy dose of skepticism.

No reason to panic

But even if it was only 35 to 40 hours, that wouldn’t be bad despite the game’s megahit status. After all, many fans are certainly taking their time playing and enjoying the title. Since there will be an open game world, many will certainly want to explore everything in peace and let off steam.

Even with this forecast, we think a playing time of 50 to 100 hours is likely for average players, but at the end of the day we all have to be surprised.

You should also not forget that in GTA 5 you will need around 30 to 50 hours to complete the story and various side tasks.
