Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III‘s Season 1 Reloaded goes live on Wednesday, January 17th. As usual for codIn the remix of Reloaded, the game will feature a number of new weapons, a new map, some new modes and much more. Here’s what to look forward to when it all arrives next week.
Season 1 Reloaded brings a ton of new multiplayer features
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III features a wide range of weapons and includes map remakes from 2009 Modern Warfare 2. Season 1 Reloaded adds two new weapons and a new map.
On the weapons side, you can expect a new submachine gun (SMG), the HRM-9, and a new light machine gun (LMG), the TAQ Evolvere. The HRM-9 has a 30-round magazine with a carry reserve of 90, while the LMG contains 100 rounds and 200 reserves.
As for where you’ll be shooting these new weapons, “Rio,” a new map for 6v6 play, features a mall in the center that offers slightly higher terrain than surrounding areas.

Season 1 Reloaded also offers some new modes. Gunfight, where everyone gets an identical random weapon loadout, gets a team-based mode. In Headquarters, teams compete to secure and hold key locations to earn points. After all, “Infected” should sound familiar gloriole fans. One player starts as an “infected” who can spread the infection by killing other players and transferring them to the other side, while other players try to survive the round.
Last but not least, there are also ranked games for multiplayer mode. Time to work up a sweat.
Warzone and Zombies get new quests and warlords
If you were a fan of DMZ (RIP)maybe you want to give ol War zone a shot with Season 1 Reloaded. Even though it’s still the battle royale mode that you either love or hate, War zone receives a weapon case objective that you must capture and keep under control for the duration of the map. You can also opt out War zone Matches early via a covert exfil, ala DMZ and other extraction shooters.
The Champion’s Quest also comes in Warzone with Season 1 reloaded. A “multi-part challenge” according to the official blogYou must initially win a total of 30 games or five games in a row to progress in the quest.
