From now on you have the opportunity to try out two games for free that many players are waiting for. This is an opportunity that you should not miss without any excuse.
If you own a PS5, you’re in luck. In fact, it’s possible that you’re a little broke right now. In any case, you may not want to spend money on your credit card this January. If yes, don’t worry, we have a solution for you. From now on you can try two games at no additional cost. And you will certainly be interested when we tell you who it is.
Two games to try for free on your PS5, but not only that
Among other things, we start with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, the big return of the Ubisoft franchise on PS5. In our columns we gave it a rating of 8/10, which gives you an idea of what we think of the new work. The latter is a little different from the most recently released ones, as it is a 2.5D Metroidvania, as opposed to the 3D style we have known since 2003. The release is definitely scheduled for January 18th, but you can already try it out via a free demo.
We highly recommend you take a look even if you’re unfamiliar w ith the genre. It is not a revolution for Metroidvania, but it manages to exploit all its codes to offer an epic worthy of the famous license. The art direction is compelling, the level design is genius, it’s edgy, but the more “modern” aspect won’t necessarily appeal to everyone. It’s up to you to test it on your PS5, for example, to form an opinion.
Plus, it’s not just available on PS5. It can also be accessed on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. However, this does not apply to the other game, whose demo was also available at the time of writing. This time we are tackling a big piece that we have been waiting for for many years. You surely understood that it is Granblue Fantasy Relink. To put you in context, the first announcement was made in 2016.
A nice demo for Granblue Fantasy Relink
The action RPG will finally be released on February 1, 2024. In the meantime, as we explained, you can jump into the adventure with a demo on PS4, PS5 and Steam. Currently, players can try out the story, quest, and tutorial modes. Perfect for getting used to the quite special gameplay of the newborn Cygame. A total of 11 characters are available to you, each with different and varied mechanics. At the start, this number increases to 19. This gives you time to get a brief overview of the title.
