I got my first taste of the first-person co-op to shoot GTFO in a four-person match with the developers 10 Chambers late last year. On March 31, all we played – and that GTFO the first players to enter have been playing with it since December – it will go, replaced with new maps, some new weapons and enemies, and new puzzles to solve. Everything will be free.
You can watch the playback in some of the new content above.
GTFO it's a dark and flawed mashup of the horic-Alien style again left 4 Dead. In fairy tales, the players play the role of prisoners under the watchful eyes of the Guard. They have been tasked with retrieving a series of MacGuffins from inside the main underground building. After this month, all the old game mechanics – developers who call themselves Rundown – are thrown out, and there will be 10 new ones. To accompany them, Chambers is 10 and introduces a machine gun, a very explosive rifle, and some new weapons and new monsters and additional game puzzles.
As an added incentive, this time around other parts of the game will be unlocked based on how well the community performs as a team. The following maps will be available only after a certain number of teams have completed a very difficult Rundown.
GTFO currently on the Steam Access Program for Tomorrow, and many great reviews. New players are encouraged to stop a dedicated Discord channel connecting with more experienced players. The next set of Rundown will go live all year long.
