Apparently, the Daredevil series promises to be much more interesting than expected: according to a renowned insider, two key characters would finally return. And always done by the same people!

We can say what we want about Netflix, but the platform was able to offer some nuggets, including in the realm of superheroes: so to speak The Daredevil series in collaboration with Marvel is one of the most popular in the industry. With excellent actors – Charlie Cox for Matt Murdock, Vincent D’Onofrio for the Kingpin… – but also a dark atmosphere, certain violence and fine choreography, The three seasons of the project were a complete success.
Oh, Disney, which owns Marvel, ultimately decided to cut production in favor of its own MCU on Disney PlusThis also ends the extended Netflix universe, which included the Punisher, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. A real disappointment for the viewers.
A first comeback (a little too) timid
However, Disney has finally decided to bring Daredevil back to its Marvel Cinematic Universe: still played by Charlie CoxIn Spider-Man No Way Home, the character appeared in his simple lawyer costume before donning Daredevil’s in She-Hulk. The same goes for the Kingpin (always played by D’Onofrio)which made its (somewhat toned down) comeback in the Hawkeye series on Disney Plus.
A return that will also be in focus a new series dedicated entirely to the blind vigilante, sweetly named “Daredevil Born Again.” and whose development began in early 2022. But that’s about it and is undoubtedly in keeping with the general spirit of the MCUthe tone envisioned for this new story was lighter than the Daredevil series on Netflixwhich wasn’t really a good sign.
And even though filming began in 2023 (and also acknowledged the MCU’s demise that same year), Disney ultimately took advantage of the writers’ strike to make it happen hiring new screenwriters who then opted for an atmosphere and violence straight out of Netflix’s three seasons.

Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson return!
There’s no denying it: Ultimately, it seems like Daredevil Born Again is finally heading in the right direction. So to speak, Marvel even recently revealed a label, “Marvel Spotlight,” under which the more violent, adult MCU films and series will be released. We know Blade will be there, but also Daredevil Born AgainSO.
In short, all this to say that according to the very well known Jeff Sneifer in his podcast who publishes the information exclusively, The characters of Foggy Nelson and Karen Page will indeed return in this new series: even better, they will continue to be played by Netflix actors, aka Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll.
News that, if true, would be of great benefit to the rest of the operations. In addition, it is said, in all seriousness, that Jon Bernthal’s Punisher would also be there: in any case, just this week, the actor said that if his character were to return, he would “do everything to make sure that it happens correctly.” ..
