More sales information has come in from the United States and it appears that the acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was the best-selling game on Nintendo Switch in 2023. The overall best-selling video game in 2023 in the United States was the fun Hogwarts Legacy from Portkey Games and Avalanche Software. This is the first year since 2008 that a title not developed by Call of Duty or Rockstar Games has become the best seller, so that’s quite an achievement.
