Recently we have seen how Apple has opted for the Vision Pro and new materials in its devices like the Titiano. However, the South Korean firm Samsung is not left out, also betting on titanium in its highest range, and of course, including artificial intelligence.

We start by comparing entry-level base models. We have similar screens, from the 6.1 in the iPhone 15 to the 6.2 inch in the Galaxy. In this case, Samsung wins by a wide margin, with its 120 Hz resolution and FHD+, while the iPhone’s OLED panel, also made by Samsung, remains at a traditional refresh rate and slightly lower resolution.
Regarding the material, The Galaxy S24 is equipped with 8 GB of RAM, 2 GB more than in the case of the iPhone 15, we find the Exynos 2400 Deca-Core processor of our own design in the case of Samsung, and the famous Apple A16 Bionic, which clearly stands out as one of the best processors in terms of power, performance and autonomy on the market.
Regarding storage, 128/256/512 GB versions for iPhone 15, while the Galaxy S24 stagnates at 128/2546 GB.
They also differ a lot in terms of cameras, 48MP (f/1.6) for the main one of the iPhone 15 and 50MP (f/1.8) for the main one of the Samsung Galaxy S24, very similar figures. We have an Ultra Wide Angle of 12MP (f/2.4) and 12MP (f/2.2) in the case of the Galaxy S24, this second device being the one which should (on paper) offer a better result. Only the Galaxy S24 gets better and higher magnification with the x3 telephoto sensor, also 12 MP. We finish at the front, where both share 12MP, with theoretically f/1.9 for the iPhone 15 and f/2.2 for the Galaxy S24.
Both are also water resistant with IP68 certification, FaceID facial recognition on the iPhone, in-display fingerprint sensor for the Galaxy. In terms of weight, the Galaxy S24 is a little lighter at 167 grams, compared to the aluminum 171 grams of the iPhone 15. Finally, the price, between $959 and $1,339 in the case of the iPhone, and from $909 to $969 in the case of the Galaxy.
Galaxy S24+ / iPhone 15 Pro
Now let’s move on to the middle version of the Samsung Galaxy S24, which is already starting to grow. We are going to give you the data of the South Korean model, and however we will neglect more in the case of the iPhone 15 Pro, since the only palpable difference with the Max version is the size of the screen. In this sense, we have a panel of 6.7″ AMOLED with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, remembering that these are the same panels as those mounted by Apple, but with a higher resolution.
A version with the processor can be purchased Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or with the previously mentioned Samsung Exynos 2400, while in Apple’s Pro range, we find the A17 Bionic. Little competition, without taking anything away from the Samsung model, since the processor of the Pro version of the iPhone is undoubtedly the most powerful and most balanced on the market.
The Samsung model continues to beat in RAM memory, since we find 12 GB in the case of the South Korean device and “only” 8 GB in the case of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. A larger storage range between the two devices is also similar, 256/512 GB for the Galaxy S24, while the iPhone 15 Pro is priced from 256B and reaches 1TB of total memory.
