Presentado The Adventure in Transylvania by Simon Quest

Retrowave has announced The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest, a side-scrolling platformer parody of Castlevania.

The study Retrowave presented Simon Quest’s Transylvanian Adventure, an 8-bit side-scrolling action platform game. This title is intended as a tribute/parody of Castlevania II: Simon’s Questone of Konami’s great classics.

The plot is not pointless and, as you can imagine, it is full of humor. The titular hero, Simon Quest

, has just arrived in Transylvania. But unfortunately he discovers that his rival in the vampire hunt, Stan Helsinghe has already killed evil Count Dracula. To claim the glory that should be yours, browse Wallachia to gather everything he needs to resurrect the Black Count piece by piece and kick his ass himself.

The game will offer us a Large map with a variety of alternate paths. Something that will encourage us to explore and clean every corner of the enemies’ homes. Additionally, if we want to face more powerful enemies in advance, we can do so to be able to unlock an alternate ending. If that wasn’t enough, we will also have a good assortment of mini-games, different types of equipment and even a randomizer so that each game is always different.

The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest is scheduled for release in 2025, on a date not yet specified. This game, initially presented in Itch.iowill be available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
