The PlayStation 5 will be back compatible with the PlayStation 4 games, but Tony said today he expects it to be a gradual release that needs to be monitored per game.

Cerny didn't mention that, like Microsoft, Tony planned to add compatibility to the PS5 back to games from older PlayStation computers. Many of the PlayStation 3 games, and a number of PS2, are currently available in the PlayStation Now company streaming service, though that's different from backwards compatibility.
