HBO Max’s switch to Max will arrive on February 27, due to Warner’s merger with Discovery, in Latin America
Good news for our friends in Latin America, Warner announced the long-awaited transition from HBO Max to Max arriving on February 27. A merger that occurred because Discovery+ was integrated into the service catalog. Last year, Max became available exclusively in the United States.

Latin America and the Caribbean where HBO Max currently operates will migrate to the new Max app February 27. Countries like Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Dominican Republic, among others, They will have new Discovery+ content, among classics from HBO and Warner.

Current subscribers will receive an email with information about the transition. You don’t have to worry because your current subscription will remain valid until it expires.. Your saved profiles, histories and shows will accompany you in Max. You’ll probably need to download a new app to leave HBO Max behind.
Subscription plans are completely changing
Apparently, Max learned something from Netflix: offering tiered subscriptions. For example, There will be a basic plan with ads, a standard plan (Full HD), and a platinum plan (4K Ultra HD). Speaking of which, don’t miss the 2024 releases on major streaming platforms.
