The hardcore strategy game Hearts of Iron IV, which has been available since 2016, is far from over. Another DLC is now on the agenda and focuses on South America.
Paradox Interactive continues to work on the hardcore strategy game Hearts of Iron IV and has now released the next expansion pack for the long-standing title, “Trial of Allegiance”. The DLC focuses on the countries of South America, which have their own problems and are under pressure to choose a side in the ongoing world war.
The new content pack will be available from March 7, 2024 and focuses on the major nations of South America that must ensure stability in their countries in an unstable world. You can follow the historical progression of the plot or explore alternative histories in three new national focus trees.
The three focus trees mentioned focus on Brazil, Argentina and Chile, smaller content and new nations for release also include Paraguay and Uruguay. There are new 3D unit sprites for the Brazilian Army, as well as new 2D graphics for units and the National Focus Tree. Six new songs round off the musical accompaniment in the package and fresh voiceovers are available in the form of voice recordings in Brazilian Portuguese, Argentine Spanish and Chilean Spanish.
