Destructoid recently spoke with Suda51 and what they specifically wanted to know is what’s going on with Travis Touchdown’s appearance in the initial reveal trailer for No More Heroes 3. If you remember, Travis had bristles and a beard along with neck armor. Well the reason for that, as Suda51 explained, is that after the events of No More Heroes 2, Travis was jumped by the badass Kimmy Howell. Here’s what Suda51 had to say about the site:
“Oh yeah, I was going to mention this in Travis Strikes Again or later, but in the years between that game and No More Heroes 3, Travis was attacked by Kimmy Howell. You know how she stalked him in No More Heroes 2, and said she’d come back to kill him after he got stronger, before Travis spared her life. Well at some point between those two matches, she suddenly attacked him, but he made it out alive and recuperating at the No More Heroes Motel. You’re actually the first person from the press to ask me about it.”
