There is no shortage of free-to-play and free games on Steam. A new production that is frankly appreciated by the community has been added to the list.
Gaming on the PC without spending a lot of money has become child’s play in recent years. From the free Epic Games Store games, to the titles offered as part of an Amazon Prime Gaming subscription, to GOG running a little promotion from time to time… filling your library without pulling out the credit card , is child’s play. However, regardless of the platform, free-to-play games are also widespread and some of them are of very good quality and have not so aggressive economic policies. In fact, one of the biggest free FPS games on the market is finally coming to Steam soon.
A new game is coming to Steam for free
There is no shortage of war games. Between Call of Duty, Battlefield 5, Hell Let Loose and War Thunder, there are still many productions about the Second World War. Steam players will soon be able to add another to their list: Enlisted Reinforced. This completely free game has been available on consoles and PC since March 2021 via its own launcher and has finally been announced for the Valve platform. See you in the first quarter of 2024, at an as yet undetermined date.
Although it has many similarities with the games mentioned above (large-scale battles, large maps, objectives, various vehicles, etc.), what sets this future free Steam game apart is its squad system. Each player has their own team of AI-controlled soldiers who are completely under their control and follow them heart and soul wherever they go. A bit like the opening mission of BF1: when you die, you take control of one of these soldiers, just to give the impression of taking part in truly massive battles. The game therefore continues as long as your squad is not completely destroyed.
Otherwise we remain on familiar territory. Maps scattered across all corners of the world, from the villages of Normandy to the streets of Berlin to the sandy beaches of Tunisia, four factions: the United States, Germany, the USSR and Japan, 350 pieces of equipment, tanks, planes, motorcycles and More than 15 soldier classes provide variety. A title frankly appreciated by the community and set to be discovered on Steam later in the year.
