To level up quickly in Palworld, you need to earn EXP.. You can achieve this by completing various tasks and exploring locations around the world, but there are a few methods that almost guarantee you’ll get enough EXP to push your character to the next level.
Here are our choices for Best Ways to Level Up Quickly in Palworld:
Increase EXP gain settings
The easiest way to quickly level up in Palworld is to change the EXP gain in the world settings. Don’t worry if you’ve already created a world, you can always adjust the EXP settings before entering it.
It is how to increase your EXP earning rate in Palworld:
- Enter the world select menu and highlight the desired world/save file.
- Select the “Global Settings” option at the bottom of your screen.
- In the menu that appears, make sure your difficulty level is set to Custom, then select “Custom Settings.”
- Next, scroll through the options that appear until you find “EXP Rate”.
- Adjust the slider to increase your EXP gain – it goes up to 20 (that’s where we set it.)
This increases how quickly you gain EXP in Palworld and the amount of EXP given for completing various tasks as you play. This is the easiest way to quickly level up: we managed to skip five levels in the space of 10 minutes.
Battle Buddies
This may seem obvious, but fighting the wild buddies you encounter while exploring the environment will increase your EXP, which will help you level up. In the starting area, there are a lot of low-level buddies that you can take out in a few hits.
Battle boss-level wild buddies
Speaking of friend fights, you can earn huge amounts of EXP (especially if you’ve changed your world settings) by taking on boss-level wild friends such as the level 35 Mammorest that hangs out near the area starting point, or dungeon bosses like the Mau near a small village.
We strongly recommend recruiting high-level friends only if you feel ready to do so. If you’re still level six and there’s a level 28 buddy nearby, avoid them until you and your buddies are stronger.
Capture friends
Catching Pals is another way to quickly level up. You will earn a portion of the EXP for each Pal you catch, but you will earn more if it is the first time you have captured that type of Pal or if it is a high level Boss Pal that you you managed to figure it out.
Additionally, if you capture ten friends of the same type, you will get a big EXP bonus that can easily push you into the next level bracket.
Build items in your base
Not all of your efforts need to be spent in the wild. In fact, you can level up by building various items in your base. Ok, so you’ll have to do a bit of work to gather materials and unlock recipes in your tech tree – but spending time pumping various items (like a hot spring) into your base will give you and your friends an EXP boost.
Fight the Rayne Tower bosses
Last but not least, the next method to level up quickly in Palworld is another combat-related method. On the map there are several Rayne Syndicate tower bosses and they are high level human bosses commanding an equally high level buddy. If you manage to face one of them and defeat them, you will be rewarded with large sums of EXP which will instantly increase your character’s level. Additionally, if you defeat a Syndicate boss, you will receive Ancient Technology Points which can be used to build items in your base for more EXP. It’s a win-win…unless you die, then not so much.
