I do not play Destiny 2but after hearing Bungie and BioWare are working together to bring it Mass effect When it comes to the game’s cosmetics, I’m more tempted to jump in than I have been in the decade since release. Will fill wearing Liara T’Soni’s hot lab coat in Bungie’s MMO shooter Mass effect-shaped hole in my heart while we wait for it Mass Effect 5 let go? No, but it’s a start.
On January 30th Bungie announced This cosmetics is based on three popular ones Mass effect Characters will come to their senses Destiny 2 next month. On February 13th, you can get protagonist Commander Shepard’s legendary N7 armor, Liara Shadow Broker’s Hideout Cloak and Garrus’ Mass Effect 3 Armor. While the outfits will cost an as yet unknown amount of money (previous crossover skins do). costs about $20 per person), the ship and Sparrow skins based on various frigates in the Mass effect Universe and the Ghost Shell based on the AI EDI will be available “for free”. According to BioWare’s Michael Gamble, this was the case “important” for both the team and Bungie to offer some of the items for free. All of this will be available as Part of the “Alliance Requirements Package”.
Normally I am I’m not keen on crossover skins invading games I likebut I don’t play Destiny 2. I have no attachment to its iconography, its lore, its history, or anything else. Like a Reaper descending on The Traveler, I’m thinking about powering up Destiny 2 and grab Liara’s cloak and the N7 armor. I’ll change them between missions until I realize that Mass effect been gone for seven years is catching up with me.
Honestly, the more likely event is that I boot this up Mass Effect: Legendary Edition Remastered. Every now and then I get the urge to go back home, and I think seeing some of these outfits in another game just makes me miss it even more. The coming fifth Mass effect Game is still light years away, but we I received a few hints about the future of the series during the last N7 day.
