Palworld surges in popularity: 19 million players plunge into monster-taming adventure

Palworld also recently launched on Xbox, and within the first ten days of launch, it has amassed over 7 million player. This is also the largest third-party launch in Game Pass history and the most played third-party first-day launch through Game Pass Ultimate cloud gaming.

Since the game entered early access earlier this month, the number of players has grown exponentially, peaking at nearly 3 million daily active users on Xbox alone. On Steam, the game is currently the best-selling game on the platform, with an all-time high of 2,101,867 concurrent players.As of press time, the current number of game players is 718,723, exceeding 12 million Played the game via Steam.

If you’re unfamiliar with the current trend, Palworld is an online open world game set in a mysterious land where you can capture over 100 companions. These monsters have a variety of abilities, whether in combat or to survive in a hostile world. You can live peacefully with your companions, use them to fight, work on your farm or factory, and even sell or eat them. The land has vicious poachers roaming the countryside, and there are other dangers you must face.

It also features multiplayer, trading, and online co-op for up to four players. Dedicated servers can host up to 32 players. PvP will be implemented in a future update, and the maximum number of players on the same server will also be increased in a future update.

Palworld is available now on PC via Steam and Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S through the Game Preview Program. It’s available to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass members, and can be played through Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
