Where to find pure quartz in Palworld
You can find pure Quartz in the Astral Mountains of Palworld. This region is at the very top of your map, in the northeast corner, and it’s cold here so be careful!
Pure quartz occurs as a rock deposit and you can distinguish it from other deposits because it has a slight gray color and crystalline hue.
You can mine this resource using any pickaxe, but we recommend crafting a metal pickaxe to make collecting pure quartz easier and faster.
Also, you’ll need cold-resistant clothing or a Fire-type buddy to keep you warm in this area. Daytime and nighttime temperatures can be dangerously low.
Best Pure Quartz Farming Location in Palworld
To farm Pure Quartz in Palworld, you will need to find a rich deposit spawn point, build a base there and assign specialist buddies to work there for you.
So far we have found that The best place to farm pure quartz in Palworld is at coordinates (-202, 253) in the Astral Mountains. It is east of Pristine Snowfield and southwest of Unthawable Lake. We have also indicated its exact location for you on the map below:
Here you can find several large deposits of pure quartz on an elevated rock. Usually there’s a level 30 or higher Pal hanging around there that you’ll need to get rid of to build your base.
Once you’ve created your base and filled it with the items needed to keep your friends happy, you need to add some storage boxes and Assign friends with mining and transportation abilities to your base.
You can check if a buddy has these abilities by selecting them in your Palbox and looking for the small Mining and Transporty icons displayed in the menu on the right side of the screen:
Then lift them up and throw them onto a pure quartz deposit to assign them there, this way they will automatically start collecting it for you.
You could just have a mining buddy, but having a buddy who can transport resources means you literally don’t have to do anything to collect pure quartz. They will do everything.
