If there’s one thing I’ll do Final Fantasy XIVit’s endless spam emotes to all my friends while we stand around in the middle of it all Limsa Lominsa Aetheryte Plaza. But I can only do /pet, /cheer, or /lalihop so many times before it gets boring. Thank God, Square Enix is providing players with a new emote as part of the Valentine’s Day 2024 event. And Oh boythis game will be a hit among players.

“Love Heart” – the emote in question – can be earned as part of the starting February 7th annual Valentine’s Day event that celebrates everything that has to do with love and romance. On this theme, Love Heart has your Warrior of Light wink at the object of his affection while forming a heart with his hands. That’s not all, however, as this emote features additional effects including pink hearts emanating from the hands, a sparkling pink circle filter, and even more pink hearts surrounding the Warrior of Light. With this at my disposal, I’ll love bombarding all of my friends with reckless abandon. Don’t be surprised if any populated part of Eorzea is full of pink hearts.

If you also want to take part in the love bombing action, you can get Love Heart in the event quest Symbol of Love, which begins with a conversation with Astrid in Old Gridania. The only requirement to accept the quest is that you are level 15 or higher. As an added bonus, you can also receive the Valentine’s Heart Chair during the event. Players have until February 21st at 9:59 a.m. EST to claim their quest rewards. Make sure you do this, because I dare say the amorous opulence of the Love Heart emote could even dethrone Dote as the emote of choice for players who want to lovingly annoy all of their friends.
