For the unsuccessful start of early access to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, buyers of the Deluxe Edition will receive in-game currency.
Rocksteady has informed buyers of the Deluxe Edition of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League via an in-game message after the failed start of Early Access that they will receive 2000 LuthorCoins as a gift.
The game officially launches on February 2nd, and anyone who has purchased the Deluxe Edition of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League should receive 72 hours of early access.
But just an hour after launching on January 29th in New Zealand, Rocksteady had to shut down the servers; a serious error resulted in game progress of 100 percent immediately after the first launch – the game was completed without ever having been played!
After hours of uncertainty, the team announced that they had identified the error. More than six hours of waiting had passed before the servers started up again.
It was previously unclear how Rocksteady would compensate its customers for the outage.
“Thank you for being one of our first console players during early access for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,” Rocksteady reportedly wrote in the in-game message.
“We know you have been patient with us during our initial launch server updates, and we would like to show our gratitude for your patience with a special gift of 2,000 LuthorCoins. Thanks again!”
The in-game currency can be used to purchase content such as outfits, emotes and other cosmetic items; 2000 LuthorCoins are worth approximately 20 EUR.
