Palworld Level Map: All Palworld Level Areas Listed

Below is the Palworld level map, which is annotated with the recommended level you should ideally reach before exploring the areas.

It’s important to note that these level ranges include both wild buddies and hostile NPCs you encounter, but not alpha buddies as their levels vary. do not always match the area you are in. This means you could be in one of the starting zones, but find yourself encountering a level 30 Alpha Pal.

As you can see from the map above, three of the four starting zones where you can respawn have a range of level 1 to 10. The only exception is the zone where the game actually begins, which ranges from level 1 to level 15.

Levels then increase as you venture out of the starting areas – ranging from level 10 to level 30 on the central islands. If you feel like heading west, you’ll find yourself in an area where Pals range from level 30 to level 40. Heading north, however, you’ll eventually encounter Pals ranging up to level 50; going northwest involves climbing frozen mountains and fighting buddies between levels 35 and 50, while exploring to the northeast lets you take on a desert and buddies between levels 40 and 50 .

Make sure you’re prepared for different temperature conditions no matter which direction you take. It’s a good idea to know how to survive the desert and icy mountains before leaving your base for a long adventure.

Here’s a breakdown of each tier zone and the locations that fall within their borders:
