Starfield will soon receive a new major update and with it a new feature that is highly requested by players. Bethesda continues to care for her foal.
Starfield is what it is, and months after its rele ase it’s still divisive. Bethesda, in turn, takes care of it, improves it and updates it regularly. At the moment we are mainly entitled to patches or adjustments to refine the gameplay and make the game more stable for as many players as possible, especially on PC. Sometimes very important updates, like the last absolutely colossal patch. And while the studio waits for the first major DLC this year, it’s continuing its support work and even preparing to add a feature highly requested by PC gamers.

Not content with arguing about who is right about Starfield, some even find a way to pull each other’s hair to find out who is better, AMD or Nvidia. In order to satisfy as many people and as many PC configurations as possible, Bethesda has managed to use the technologies of its two competitors. Not jealous. Initially, Starfield only supported support from AMD with its FSR, a system that allows you to enjoy better gaming fluidity without compromising graphics quality. Very quickly, players demanded the introduction of DLSS, Nvidia’s equivalent, and modders quickly released a home patch to enable it. Bethesda finally officially integrated it.
Today we are once again talking about AMD and its FSR, as it is the latest version of the technology that will soon land on Starfield. The FSR 3 will actually be part of the next wave of updates. The players have been asking for it longingly, it’s done. However, the studio states that this will be a version still in development, i.e. a beta version. You can still benefit from the latest version of the FSR, but we just warn you that stability and/or performance may be a bit sluggish. Console players, for their part, are not affected.
As a reminder, Starfield is available on PC (via Steam and in the Microsoft Store), but also on Xbox Series. It’s also one of the big games available on Xbox Game Pass.
