Ahead of Final Fantasy 7 Reborn’s State of Play reveal, there are rumors that a demo is coming soon

Next week we’ll take a closer look final fantasy 7 rebornand it seems that a demo may be released soon.

Earlier this week, PlayStation’s latest State of Play revealed a lot of content, such as a Until Dawn remaster, a Silent Hill 2 combat trailer, and a feature-length trailer for Death Stranding 2. It also brings news that next week (February 6) will be another State of Play, entirely focused on the upcoming release of Final Fantasy 7 Reborn. Of course, we can definitely expect a fresh look at the gameplay and perhaps a new trailer, but it seems like the demo might also be released during the presentation. Twitter account PlayStation Game Size (usually a good source of file sizes for upcoming PlayStation games) shared Reborn download size The preload will go live at midnight on February 27th and will be a ridiculous 145.250 GB in size.

In a later tweet, the account also shared that there will be a demo for Final Fantasy 7 Reborn, and upon completing it, you’ll apparently receive an in-game item called “Kupo Charm – Survival Set.” PlayStation Game Size also revealed that the demo is listed as “titleIdFoTransferring,” which could mean the demo will offer save transfer functionality as well. This isn’t surprising, as Final Fantasy XVI has a similar demo that lets you transfer your saves, but we’ll have to wait to see if the demo is real first.

Final Fantasy 7: State of Play is set to air on February 6th at 11:30pm GMT/3:30pm PT, so that will be a little late for those in the UK and Europe.

Square Enix announced last month that there will also be a screening of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children in February, but it won’t be for long, so it’s best to get your tickets as soon as possible.

Final Fantasy 7 Reborn will be released on PS5 on February 29th.
