One of the most popular series in the Netflix catalog is back and is finally experiencing its big finale – two years after the last season.
Cobra Kai is one of Netflix’s biggest hits. Originally broadcast on YouTube Premium, the direct sequel to Karate Kid, which takes place 34 years after the events of the first part, was met with great enthusiasm when it arrived on the streaming platform. Since then, five seasons have been released and the series’ grand finale is currently in production after a two-year wait. It’s set to release on Netflix this year.

Good news and bad news for fans: Cobra Kai will end this year. The sixth season, announced in 2023, went into production two years after the fifth chapter. The wait is finally over and we pretty much know what to expect in this final act. The story begins immediately after the events of season five Terry Silver’s dishonesty comes to light at the All-Valley Tournament. His students decide to turn their backs on him, a difficult moment for Kenny, who saw him as a father and mentor. This final part is intended to allow us to learn more about the relationship between Kumizoko and Chozen after the latter decided to reveal his feelings. We should also witness the grand return of Jonh Kreese, as after spending last season in prison, he faked his own death to escape and prepare his revenge.

Like Cobra Kai, other popular series will also end in 2024. Good Doctor, hosted by Freddie Highmore, has found its audience. The show, broadcast on ABC, is ending with a seventh season that was shortened due to the Hollywood strike. The Bing Theory spin-off about the youth of one of the show’s most popular characters, Sheldon Cooper, who I call Young Sheldon, will also end this year. A seventh season airing from February 15th to May 16th on CBS across the Atlantic. After all, how can we not mention Yellowstone? The flagship series starring Kevin Costner will conclude with the long-awaited second part of its fifth season in November 2024 on Paramount+. The list is still long, for example we can name the spin-off of the Viking series, Valhalla, Elite or You. 2024 marks the end of many programs.
